Later in that year, the company opened its second manufacturing unit in Rajpur village, Gujarat, to primarily manufacture woven bags and FIBC. The company was declared as India’s best performing mid-size company during 2006-07 by Business World Magazine.
Looking Ahead: It's where the crystal ball normally comes out and lofty predictions are generally made. At Plastene, however, the future is not what we are going to do, but the company is already doing things which would bear fruit on at a later date.
