The company is situated at Chopadava village near Kandla in Gujarat and is engaged in manufacturing, marketing & exporting of Free Flow Refined Iodized Salt, Karkach salt and industrial salt. The Company’s present annual production capacity is 3,25,000 MT Refined Free Flow Iodized Salt which highest in the field of Refined Iodized Salt in the country.

The products of the company are well known for their best quality. Its brand, “ANKUR” has become the only choice of the best quality salt users. Bureau of Indian Standards has permitted the Company for affixing its “ISI mark” on its products vide Registration No. ISI-7224 and for maintaining excellent quality of its ANKUR brand products.

The company has obtained ISO 9001:2000 quality certification. A sufficient Iodine level content in the company’s product is also endorsed by International Council for Control of Iodine Deficiency Disorder (ICCIDD), a reputed International Organization.

The company also manufactures "Saffola" brand quality Salt, a premium product in healthy heart salt segment and exclusively marketed by MARICO INDUSTRIES LTD, Mumbai.

The company is also exporting salt to South Africa, European Countries, UAE, Asian Countries etc. The Company is also selling its salt to Kargil India Ltd, & Britania Ind. Ltd. The “Nature Fresh” salt is also manufactured by the Company.

The Company was awarded “BHARTIYA UDYOG RATNA AWARD” in Year 2000. The company’s turnover is Rs. 69.81 Crore in the year 2006-2007.
